Rogaška Slatina

Chapel of St. Anne
Chapel of St. Ana, marked by neo-Romanesque forms, was built as early as 1804. The spa chapel is dedicated to St. Ani, who is known as the patroness of the spa. Plans for the chapel were made in Graz. In 1686, the famous Styrian Baroque master Hans Adam Weissenkirchner painted the altarpiece of St. Mary with Child and St. Yes. In 1926, the chapel of St. Ana was renovated by the famous Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik. The municipal holiday is celebrated on the day of St. Anne, who is July 26th. As a saint, St. Anne expresses a cosmopolitan attitude towards health.
Ivan's spring
Ivanov vrelec is located behind the Villa Golf apartments, opposite the Rogaška Riviera. It was named after Archduke John of Habsburg, who was a regular guest and patron of the Rogaška Health Resort in the first half of the 19th century. Water began to penetrate the surface in this area in 1821. Today, the renovated Ivan's spring is still alive and in working order. An interesting path past Ivan's spring starts at the Rogaška Slatina Health Center, leads past the spring and then continues towards the viewing platform. The path is beautifully landscaped and runs in the pleasant silence of the forest.
Forest Spring and Janina
The beginning of the path to the Janina hill begins at Gozdni vrelec, which is one of the oldest springs in Rogaška Slatina. The spring was described as early as 1883 in the first advertising booklet of the Spa. The trail runs along a well-kept forest path, which leads us past a trim trail, ski slope, rest area and at the end leads us to the tower, from where there is a beautiful view of Rogaška Slatina and the surrounding area.
Crystal Hall
The Grand Hotel Rogaška has the Crystal Hall, which is the most important and largest cultural monument in Rogaška Slatina. The biggest attraction of the beautiful hall are the five handmade chandeliers of the Glassworks.
Rogaška and four oil works by the Austrian painter Schröter from 1912, which depict important people or milestones in the development of the spa.
Rogaška Glassworks
Rogaška Slatina is also known abroad for its exceptional quality of engraved and ground products, which are made of lead crystal glass and handmade by master glassmakers. In the Glassworks
In 1926, Viljem Abel, the owner of the United Glass Factories, built a glassworks near Sveti Križ, now the Rogaška Glassworks. Today, Steklarna Rogaška is one of the largest producers in Europe. Today, visitors can buy products in an industrial shop and a guided group tour of the glassworks and the production of products by glass masters who create different shapes by blowing.
